Post-Reform Healthcare Systems: Corporate and Private Exchange Options

Presenter Todd Ringwood, Aon Hewitt Wednesday, March 20 2013
5:30pm-Networking
6:00-7:00-Presentation

The post-reform healthcare system is focused on expanding and improving coverage and legislation to fund this coverage through tax increases and employer penalties. Some states are working on development of their own healthcare exchanges, but most are not – and the cost of the state and Federal exchange options are an unknown at this point in time.

Corporate and Private Exchanges are proliferating – using competitive market forces to drive efficiency and mitigate healthcare trend. Employers are using corporate exchanges to manage costs through the transition to a defined contribution benefits model, expand employee choice, and provide an alternative to the state and Federal exchanges.*

Presenter Todd Ringwood, MBA, Resident Managing Director, Aon Hewitt will provide  an overview of the private exchange concept and Aon Hewitt’s experience with their 100,000+ corporate exchange enrollees in 2012 and growth for 2013 and beyond in this rapidly evolving space.
