  Our Presentation:

Through his “punny” style, Scott will discuss the rules of conduct for Enrolled Retirement Plan Agents (ERPAs) practicing before the IRS under Circular 230 as well as other ways ethical rules affect the relationship of TPAs to their clients so that TPAs can do the right thing according to the appropriate code.   Many case studies will be used to demonstrate the principle rules and how to avoid being put into compromising situations.  Attendees will learn:

  • The difference between morals and ethics;
  • The rules for practicing before the IRS;
  • Best practices to avoid ethical breaches; and
  • Consequences of violating Codes of Ethics.
